Solution
Global Environmental is providing groundwater treatment services in West Michigan to facilitate installation of new water main and sewer infrastructure. The contractor is using well-point dewatering system is being utilized to lower the water table, with water being pumped to Global's nearby holding tanks.
Our team is using an automated pump to transfer the water through bag filters and lead/lag-activated carbon vessels, to ultimately remove VOCs prior to discharge to the storm sewer system. Global is the licensed Commercial/Industrial Wastewater Operator and is providing weekly site visits, sampling, and reporting as required by the NPDES permit.
