Alaina Zeigler Recognized by Corp! Magazine for Making Michigan a Better Place

"Alaina Korreck Zeigler is president and owner of Global Environmental, a comprehensive remediation service provider that expertly resolves air, water, and soil contamination. As a woman-owned small business, Zeigler said the company "takes pride in offering over three decades of expertise and innovative problem solving."

Her late father, Bill Korreck, started Global Environmental in 1992. Growing up, she used to tag along on site visits and to the office and hear stories of how Global was "cleaning up the world. This facilitated a strong connection to the environmental industry at an early age and I always felt destined to be part of it," Zeigler said. "I eventually took over the company as president in 2020 and added owner to my title in 2021." Taking over her father's legacy and driving Global forward has been "both a privilege and a deeply personal responsibility for me," she said.

"He was not only an accomplished entrepreneur, but also a source of inspiration, embodying innovation, integrity, and a genuine love for what he did," Zeigler said. "I am constantly driven by the desire to honor his legacy."
