LPV-2000 Liquid Phase Media Vessel
Global Environmental’s LPV-2000 Series Vessels are designed for groundwater or wastewater remediation where low to moderate flow volumes are expected. These vessels can be configured in series and/or parallel, with various types of media, to create a custom setup that addresses even the most challenging wastewater treatment needs.
The system configuration and the number of vessels needed will be determined by Global’s EGLE-certified industrial stormwater operators, based on site conditions, the proposed flow rate, and the type of contamination. Depending on the treatment requirements, granular activated carbon can be replaced with other media such as impregnated organoclay, resin, or sand.
Each LPV-2000 vessel is designed to hold 2,000 lbs of granular activated carbon, providing 7.5 minutes of empty-bed contact time at 140 gallons per minute (assuming two vessels are set in a lead/lag configuration). Each vessel includes a 2” or 3” inlet/outlet connection, pressure gauges, sample ports, and a drain valve to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
Bed volume per vessel: 2,000 lbs
Inlet/outlet size: 2"-3" Male Cam-Lock
Vessel type: Liquid Phase Media Vessel
